This is the cheapest Skoda at SAHE 2026

The Skoda Epiq is the smallest and most affordable electric vehicle from the Czech manufacturer, and it’s one of the biggest highlights you’ll find at SAHE 2026.

The Salão do Automóvel Híbrido Elétrico (SAHE), held in Porto until October 18, served as the venue chosen by numerous brands to showcase their latest models set to hit the market soon.

Skoda took advantage of this Portuguese event to prominently feature the new Epiq, the cheapest electric vehicle in its range and part of Volkswagen Group’s new push for affordable electric cars.

The smallest and most affordable electric vehicle from this Czech manufacturer is already available for order in Portugal at 28,825 euros.

Small on the outside, spacious on the inside

With a length of 4,171 meters, width of 1,798 meters, height of 1,581 meters, and an axle distance of around 2.6 meters, the new Skoda Epiq is slightly more spacious compared to its “cousins” the CUPRA Raval and Volkswagen ID. Polo, offering a trunk capacity of 475 liters.

In addition to this, there are 25 liters of extra storage under the hood, along with another 28 liters spread across various storage compartments in the cabin.

Unlike other B-segment SUVs, Skoda does not follow the same approach of restricting access to all Epiq’s functions via the central screen. Proof of this are the physical controls located beneath the 13-inch central screen, which allow access to the vehicle’s main functions.

In addition to this, another 5.3-inch screen is located in front of the driver, dedicated to the instrumentation.

It’s the cheapest Skoda electric vehicle

The new Skoda Epiq is available in 35, 40, and 55 versions, with prices starting at 28,825 euros. The first two models are powered by a 37 kWh LFP battery and claim a range of 310 km in WLTP cycle conditions, with the main difference lying in the electric motor’s power: 85 kW (116 hp) in the 35 version and 99 kW (135 hp) in the 40 version.

At the top of the range is the Epiq 55, which features a 52 kWh NMC battery paired with an electric motor producing 155 kW (211 hp), offering over 440 km of range (WLTP). Learn about the prices for the full range:
