Content creator and professional truck driver Tobias Wagner, known as “Electrotrucker,” has completed the first major leg of his world tour using his Mercedes-Benz eActros 600, which has been converted into a camper van.
Since starting in Hanover on September 20, his route took him through Czechia, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Serbia, and Bulgaria before reaching Turkey. In mid-October, he arrived at the Mercedes-Benz factory in Aksaray after traveling about 3,500 kilometers and making three stops to recharge. Wagner is now on his way to Georgia.
"The phase so far through Europe has worked very well," reports Wagner. "Thanks to the long range of my eActros 600 converted into a camper van, only three charging stops were needed – and all of them went smoothly. Now the particularly exciting part of the journey begins for me. As I travel through Central Asia and further toward China, I will be in entirely new conditions."

More information
Along its route across Europe, Wagner was welcomed by local teams from Daimler Truck as well as dealers and general representatives of Mercedes-Benz Trucks. The focus was on interacting with customers, partners, employees, the media, and representatives from politics and business, as well as gaining practical experience with electric long-distance travel across national borders.
After successfully completing the European leg, Wagner’s route is set to take it through Central Asia to China and then further into Southeast Asia. Australia, as well as North and Latin America, are also planned for subsequent stages. The expedition is designed to cover a total distance of around 45,000 kilometers, with the goal of completing the journey using no more than 80 charging stops.
