Simpler and safer login to the E-bike app

Both on Elbilappen and here on elbil.no, members of Elbilforening can now choose to log in using Vipps or SMS, depending on their preference.

Most of us use an overwhelming number of services that require logging in.

And few things cause as much frustration as that simple message: “Incorrect username or password.”

But now, as a member of Elbilforening, you can avoid getting stuck against that digital password wall:

Next time you log in to Elbilappen or need to check an invoice on My page here on elbil.no, use Vipps or SMS.

Here’s how to log in using Vipps...

If you choose Vipps, it assumes you are already using that service.

The email address you registered with Vipps must be the same one registered on your membership in Elbilforeningen.

Click on «Log in with Vipps», and you will receive a notification in the Vipps app.

… and that’s how you log in with SMS

Click on «Log in with SMS».

Enter the phone number registered on your membership.

Enter or paste the one-time code sent to you via SMS.

The old method using email and password is being removed, so this will be the only way to log in from now on.

Jan-Ivar Bjerke has extensive experience from Elbilforeningen’s membership service department and has helped many members who forgot their passwords.

– This is a faster and simpler option that members will benefit from, he says.

And thus, there is a good chance that Jan-Ivar will have even more time to assist Electric Vehicle Association members with things other than logging in.
