ElectroFleet promises turnkey “on-demand” charging parks for truck fleets
The energy infrastructure provider ElectroFleet offers logistics companies electricity from renewable sources with a fixed price guarantee. Additionally, ElectroFleet finances, builds, and operates the charging infrastructure needed to electrify vehicle fleets. Now also available “on demand.”
At this year’s IAA, ElectroFleet (Hall 12, C37) is introducing its expanded business model. This focuses on “On Demand” charging park networks and sharing models. But let’s go step by step: The company from Osnabrück is already known as a partner for logistics firms, providing electricity from renewable sources with a fixed price guarantee valid for up to 20 years. Additionally, ElectroFleet is building private charging parks across the country at strategically important logistics hubs.
The company offers charging capacities to fleet operators in various regions. “The key feature is the on-demand charging park concept: Fleet owners can determine the exact location of construction sites by committing to ElectroFleet and requesting a sufficient daily charging volume for their (to be acquired) electric trucks,” the company explains its expanded business idea. To utilize the charging park fully, sharing models could also be implemented as needed, where multiple truck fleet operators join forces to form a demand group.
"With our on-demand model, we build truck charging stations right where our customers need them, ensuring high utilization from day one," explains Mark Hellmann Regouby, CEO and managing partner of ElectroFleet GmbH. At the IAA Transportation (September 15–20 in Hannover), the company will showcase its depot charging business alongside reference customers such as Häberle Logistik GmbH (including an Häberle electric truck as a highlight at the booth). Additionally, as part of its expanded business model, ElectroFleet plans to unveil an exclusive partnership with a nationwide freight forwarding company at the exhibition. Furthermore, ElectroFleet announces that it will introduce its new charging station under construction at its headquarters in Osnabrück, featuring an MCS charging point for ultra-fast charging.
We are already familiar with ElectroFleet as the initiator of the “TCO Alliance” – a network founded in 2024 that offers a comprehensive solution for electrifying truck fleets. Among its members, in addition to the company from Osnabrück, are Power Innovation, k2 Mobility, Avalon Solutions, Prokot Elektrotechnik, Ferronordic, and Fraunhofer IFAM.
