Electreon introduces a wireless 11-kW charging solution for parking spaces

Electreon is expanding its inductive charging offerings with a stationary solution for passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. Lite DOT transmits up to 11 kW wirelessly and can be installed in existing parking spaces without major infrastructure work, provided the vehicle has a compatible receiver.

Lite DOT is designed for use outdoors and in garages at temperatures ranging from -30 to +50 degrees Celsius.

Unlike the systems integrated into road surfaces for which the Israeli company is best known, this is a stationary solution for parking lots. The target audience includes private users as well as fleets of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. The system achieves a charging capacity of up to 11 kW. Energy is transferred to the vehicle induktively through a charging pad mounted above ground on the parking space. Additionally, there is a wall module that can be installed, for example, on a garage wall or a pole. According to Electreon, this approach eliminates the need for extensive excavation work.

As soon as a compatible vehicle is parked above the charging pad, the system recognizes it and automatically starts the charging process. This makes Lite DOT particularly attractive to fleets whose vehicles need to be charged repeatedly during regular downtime. Electreon also mentions autonomous vehicles as a potential use case, since no manual connection is required for charging.

The solution does not work without additional hardware in the vehicle. For energy transfer, the electric vehicle requires a receiver specific to that vehicle. According to Electreon, this can be provided either by the company itself or by partners in the automotive industry. It is not yet clear which vehicle manufacturers will support this technology.

The charging pad can be installed both in garages and outdoors. Electreon specifies an operating temperature range of -30 to +50 degrees Celsius. The system is also designed to function in rainy and snowy conditions. The package includes the “Electreon Flow Driver” app as well.

With Lite DOT, Electreon is specifically expanding its offerings toward stationary charging for passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. The company is currently best known for more powerful inductive systems and charging while driving. On a test track on France’s A10 highway, the technology is being tested using a truck, van, passenger car, and tour bus. There, average power transfer rates of 200 kW and peak values exceeding 300 kW were measured during driving. The technology is also being tested on a section of the A6 highway in Oberpfalz as part of the E|MPOWER[](https://www.electrive.net/2025/06/10/teststrecke-eingeweiht-a6-wird-zur-e-road-fuer-induktives-laden/) project.

Lite DOT adopts a different approach with a maximum power output of 11 kW: instead of high charging speeds, it focuses on automated use during regular parking periods. This could be particularly useful for fleets where vehicles are consistently parked in fixed locations and need to be recharged without manual connection. After acquiring the U.S.-based specialist InductEV this year, Electreon claims to hold over 400 patents in the field of wireless charging.
