Just months after its debut, Lexus has unveiled the commercial lineup of the new ES for the Spanish market. This is the eighth generation of its luxury sedan, which is now available in two electric versions alongside the hybrid option that has always defined the model.
It will be priced starting at 61,500 euros, with a lineup organized into three trim levels (SIGNATURE, EXCLUSIVE, and OMOTENASHI+) as well as three different propulsion systems.
A hybrid version and two electric versions
The ability to choose among three mechanical options is one of the biggest innovations. The ES 300h retains Lexus’s hybrid system but introduces its sixth generation for the first time, featuring a 2.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine paired with a new transmission and a lighter, more compact lithium-ion battery. It produces 196 horsepower, allowing drivers to select between front-wheel drive or the E-Four all-wheel drive system, with acceleration times of 8 seconds and 7.7 seconds respectively from 0 to 100 km/h.
The electric lineup includes the ES 350e FWD and ES 500e AWD. The former features front-wheel drive, a 165 kW (224 HP) engine, accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.0 seconds, has a battery with a capacity of 77 kWh, and boasts a range of up to 581 km. The latter adds another engine to the rear axle for all-wheel drive, delivers 252 kW (343 HP), accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.5 seconds, uses a 75 kWh battery, and has a range of up to 529 km.

Abundant features even in the base version
All versions come standard with a multimedia system featuring a 14-inch screen, a 12.3-inch Lexus Digital Cockpit dashboard, and heated and ventilated front seats. The EXCLUSIVE trim, available on the ES 300h, adds features such as a digital key, a 360-degree panoramic view camera, a digital rearview mirror, and a Mark Levinson audio system with 17 speakers.
In the electric versions, the top-tier OMOTENASHI+ package includes many comfort-oriented options. These include adaptive variable suspension, high-resolution MultiLED headlights with adaptive lighting, and a rear-seat package that features a seatback for the right rear passenger, a foldable front seat to increase available space, and massage functions with up to five programs.
The safety features are also standard across the entire range, as the new ES comes equipped with Lexus Safety System+ 4.0 out of the box, the latest iteration of the brand’s driver assistance systems. Its functions include blind spot detection, safe exit assist, and front and rear cross-traffic alert.
The Lexus ES lineup for the Spanish market begins with the ES 300h SIGNATURE FWD and ES 350e SIGNATURE Efficiency FWD, both starting at 61,500 euros. The ES 300h SIGNATURE AWD starts at 64,500 euros, while the ES 500e SIGNATURE AWD is priced at 66,100 euros. Above these are the ES 300h EXCLUSIVE AWD at 69,500 euros and the ES 350e OMOTENASHI+ FWD at 78,500 euros.
