The CUPRA Raval has smashed through 51,000 orders, and the brand is celebrating with a new version developed in collaboration with ABT.

The CUPRA Raval has received over 51,000 orders since its launch last April, doubling the company’s initial estimates. To date, approximately 15,000 units of this electric utility vehicle have been delivered. It is produced at the SEAT S.A. plant in Martorell (Barcelona), where the Volkswagen ID. Polo is also manufactured.
At last year’s Paris Motor Show 2026, CUPRA unveiled a new version intended to top the range: the Raval VZ CUSTOM CUPRA by ABT, with orders now open in the Spanish market. It is based on the already existing Raval VZ, retaining its original propulsion system. No improvements have been made to the suspension or braking system either.
Thus, we are looking at a small hot hatch with 226 hp (166 kW) of power, capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds and reaching a top speed of 175 km/h. Its 52 kWh NCM (nickel, cobalt, manganese) battery provides a WLTP range of 386 km thanks to the use of high-performance tires (without them, the VZ has a WLTP range of 439 km).
The Raval VZ is equipped with electronically controlled dampers (DCC Sport) offering up to 15 different stiffness levels. It also features an electromechanical limited-slip differential e-VAQ, which uses an electronically managed multi-disc clutch to transfer torque to the wheel with the best grip. Other differences from a regular Raval include high-performance steering knuckles and a specific steering calibration map.

CUPRA and ABT have made no mechanical changes
Developed in collaboration with specialist ABT, the new model features a range of handcrafted elements designed to enhance its sporty appearance: front and rear splitters, fender flares, front and rear winglets, and a roof spoiler with the ABT logo. The 19-inch Sport Black Matt alloy wheels are exclusive to this model.
The decorative moldings on the bumpers (both front and rear) as well as the dark chrome CUPRA logo should also be noted. The customer can choose between two configurations: VZ CUSTOM CUPRA by ABT, which features only exterior changes, and VZ CUSTOM CUPRA by ABT AHEAD, which adds a specific interior setup.

In the latter case, the vehicle comes equipped with electric CUP Bucket AHEAD front seats with heating and memory function, upholstery made using the '3D Knitting' industrial process, a dedicated heated steering wheel, and various 3D-printed decorative elements for the dashboard.
