The Audi A2 e-tron arrives in Spain with a range of up to 646 km and a starting price of 37,760 euros.

As we mentioned earlier this morning, the Audi A2 is back. The famous station wagon from the late 1990s returns in the form of a compact electric vehicle bearing the e-tron name. Positioned one tier below the Q4 e-tron in the German manufacturer’s zero-emission lineup, this model serves as an electric counterpart to the A3 in the C-segment.

Audi has not disclosed its external dimensions, only stating that its wheelbase is 2.77 meters. It does, however, boast a spacious trunk of 396 liters, which is quite impressive for a compact hatchback with the engine located at the rear axle. All A2 e-trons will feature rear-wheel drive (no all-wheel-drive versions have been announced yet).

The main features at the front are the dual-level lighting units and the rectangular grille, which houses the lower part of the headlights. The side profile features a highly curved roof, while at the rear we find thin, elongated taillights that extend horizontally almost to touch the four-ring logo in the center of the trunk lid. The tires range from 18 to 20 inches in diameter.

Audi announces a WLTP range of up to 646 km

Inside, we find an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.8-inch touchscreen for the infotainment system. Additional features include a 1.6 square meter panoramic roof, an augmented reality head-up display, and a console shelf with dual wireless chargers for smartphones using Qi 2.2 standard.

There are a total of four power levels (170 HP, 190 HP, 231 HP, and 326 HP) and three batteries (52 kWh LFP, 61 kWh LFP, and 84 kWh NCM). Their ranges are 423 km WLTP, 515 km WLTP, 646 km WLTP, and 630 km WLTP respectively. Regarding charging, the small battery takes 24 minutes to go from 10% to 80% at 100 kW, the medium battery takes 26 minutes at 105 kW, and the large battery takes 29 minutes at 183 kW.

Orders will open this fall, with deliveries scheduled for December. In Spain, the 170 HP model will start at 37,760 euros, while the 190 HP version will cost 41,560 euros. The 231 HP and 326 HP versions will cost 47,360 euros and 56,640 euros respectively.
