Eiffelland shows the camping version of the Nissan Interstar-e

The Nissan Interstar-e, a fully electric van in the "Sprinter format," serves as the basis for a new camper van from Eiffelland. Named Campervan Relax, it aims to combine electric mobility, living comfort, and practicality in a modern travel vehicle.
The Nissan Interstar-e, unveiled in February 2024, is a derivative of the Renault Master, which we already tested extensively for a review. The biggest criticism in our assessment was its price tag, starting at 46,200 euros. On the other hand, the Interstar-e excels in terms of driving comfort. Now, Nissan is bringing a new variant of the Interstar-e to the spotlight: the Campervan Relax. Developed by Nissan’s partner Eifelland, it will be displayed soon at the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf (August 28 to September 6) in Hall 15, booth A09.
Unlike the classic Interstar e, which is only available as a van with a front seat bench, Eiffelland has developed its Campervan Relax as a full-sized four-seater suitable for families or friends. It features two additional removable single seats that can be positioned freely in the passenger area, allowing for more flexible adaptation of the living and kitchen spaces.
The electric camper van also comes equipped with a built-in bed featuring a frame, mattress, and a sleeping area of approximately 1.90 x 1.60 meters. Additional amenities include a kitchen area with a 90-liter refrigerator, induction cooktop, and sink, as well as an interior made of solid wood with hanging cabinets above the kitchen area and bed.

The E-camper, built manually, offers just over 2.6 cubic meters of storage space. With a curb weight of 3,065 kg and a maximum allowable weight of 3,500 kg, it has a payload capacity of up to 435 kilograms.
The Campervan Relax is powered by the 105 kW electric motor from the Nissan Interstar-e. This motor is paired with the 87-kWh battery typical of this model. However, little can be said about its range: while the base vehicle has a WLTP range of 410 km, this can vary with modifications like the Campervan Relax. In any case, the DC fast charging capacity is 130 kW. A 22-kW charger is also included as standard for quick AC charging.
The Vehicle-to-Load function (V2L) on the all-electric Nissan Interstar-e is also practical: it allows the standard Truma-Eezy portable heater to be powered directly by the vehicle’s high-voltage battery. The price remains the only consideration: it starts at 89,900 euros. This seems reasonable given its features — many campers cost six figures these days.
