EICMA 2026. Ultraviolette unveils the X-47 Venom and the large scooter Tesseract Maxi.

Ultraviolette brings its updated electric crossover X-47 to Eicma, featuring a larger battery and fast charging up to 12 kW. The new Tesseract Maxi was also unveiled ahead of time, a large scooter with a futuristic design and cutting-edge technology.

The X-47 becomes Venom

The Indian brand presents the evolution of the electric X-47 at the Milan show — the first motorcycle built on the new 100-volt platform (VX-100 Architecture), equipped with a 30 kW engine and larger batteries up to 11 kWh.

The claimed range of the new Venom increases to 235 km, with the more advanced Recon version reaching 343 km. However, these measurements are based on the Indian IDC cycle, which is more generous than the European cycle.

The increased capacity comes with improvements to the cooling system and battery pack design. Ultraviolette claims higher energy density and reduced battery weight.

The X-47 Venom also introduces a pyro-fuse for the battery pack, the first of its kind, designed to isolate the circuit within milliseconds when a critical fault is detected.

Fast charging and a new engine

Ultraviolette has equipped its motorcycle with fast DC charging up to 12 kW, a significant improvement for those who travel outside town. However, a complete overview of charging times and the charging curve is still missing. To assess the advantages, it’s necessary to know how long the Venom maintains its claimed power and what charging systems will be available in the European version.

The engine specifications remain crucial as well. The new Lightfury engine delivers a peak power of 30 kW (about 41 HP) and 550 Nm of torque at the wheels, offering a top speed of 155 km/h and a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 5.9 seconds.

Among the standard features are a rear radar for monitoring blind spots, vehicles approaching from behind, and risks during lane changes, along with a new 7-inch touchscreen.

The X-47 Venom is available at a launch price of 8,450 euros, with deliveries starting in early 2027.

Tesseract Maxi

The electric maxi-scooter Tesseract Maxi

Unveiled globally at Eicma, this new vehicle expands Ultraviolette’s lineup in the electric maxi-scooter segment.

Equipped with a 6 kWh battery and a 15 kW (20 HP) motor, it promises an 80% charge in less than an hour.

The Tesseract Maxi relies heavily on its futuristic design and, above all, its advanced technological features. Notable components include the Hypersense radar and integrated dashcam, along with Omnisense mirrors for lane change assistance, overtaking support, and obstacle detection systems.

The package is completed by traction control, 14-inch wheels, and a 32-liter underseat storage area.
