EICMA 2026. Nerva unveils Kory, a high-wheel e-scooter for urban use

EICMA 2026. Nerva unveils Kory, a high-wheel e-scooter for urban use

The Spanish manufacturer Nerva is presenting a new electric scooter model at the Eicma Show, set to launch in 2027. Named Kory, it fills the gap in their lineup for high-wheelbase scooters—practical for urban commuting—that was still missing.

Nerva introduces a model different from what they have offered before, continuing to diversify their product range to meet the needs and preferences of those seeking green urban two-wheeled mobility. Following the EXE, EXE II, and Lift scooters, as well as the compact Spark and the professional Cargo, here comes Kory—a classic high-wheelbase scooter with a sleek design and practical features, which is very popular in the Italian market and beyond.

Nerva presents it as an electric scooter designed specifically for the city, thus targeting those who face daily urban commutes and seek an alternative to traditional internal combustion engine vehicles.

Blade batteries and Type 2 fast charging

While official technical specifications are pending, Kory is expected to adopt elements common to other models in the lineup to uphold the same corporate philosophy.

Firstly, the use of BYD Blade lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) batteries, a technology chosen for its safety and durability features, with the option for them to be removed. Next is the central motor, which Nerva claims has been tested over 20 million kilometers since the brand was founded in 2022. Finally, another key feature of the brand is the ability to charge via a built-in Type 2 socket, which is rare among e-scooters, allowing access to public charging stations and faster charging options.

As mentioned, specific technical details are still awaited to better understand the new scooter. The commercial release of the Kory is not immediate, with the target date for Italy set for the end of 2027. We’ll have to wait and see what the price will be.
