EICMA 2026: Eli unveils the ZERO MX minicar. The special RACE Edition is also on display.

Eli is expanding its range of electric microcars with the new ZERO MX, the brand’s first heavy quadricycle (L7e) claiming a range of up to 200 km. The American manufacturer is also bringing the ZERO RACE Edition to Eicma 2026, a special series featuring a sporty exterior design and dedicated interior accents.
These two new models unveiled at the Milan exhibition represent an expansion of Eli’s offerings, which have so far focused exclusively on light quadricycles of the L6e category. The models will enter the Italian market through Mobility Trade, the brand’s new importer and distributor.
Eli ZERO MX: urban minicar
The most significant new model is the ZERO MX, with which the manufacturer enters the segment of heavy quadricycles that can be driven in Italy from the age of 16 with a B1 license. The model retains the particularly compact dimensions of the Zero family — just 2.25 meters in length — but introduces technical features that expand its range of possible uses.
The electric motor achieves a peak power of 20 kW, while the maximum declared speed is 85 km/h. The 14.4 kWh LFP battery promises a range of up to 200 km.
It has rear-wheel drive, and the driver can choose between ECO and SPORT modes. Other declared features include the ability to handle slopes of up to 30% and a turning diameter of 7.2 meters, highlighting the maneuverability typical of microcars.
For charging, it comes equipped with a 3.3 kW onboard charger that can be used with a standard household outlet or at public AC charging stations.
Features from a Larger Vehicle
The ZERO MX offers a particularly comprehensive suite of features for its class. Standard equipment includes a climate control system with heating, a panoramic roof, keyless entry and start, a rear camera with parking sensors, and electric power steering.
The interior features a digital dashboard and a 10.1-inch infotainment display with Apple CarPlay. It also includes ABS, an electric parking brake, and disc brakes on all four wheels. There are four available colors: Pearl White, Arctic Silver, Graphite, and the new Champagne.
ZERO Race Edition Series: Sporty in Turbo Mode
Alongside the MX, Eli is also introducing the special ZERO Race Edition series at Eicma 2026 ahead of time. This limited-edition version is available for both the premium Zero L6e model and the new MX L7e.
The aesthetic design features the exclusive Turbo Red paint finish, paired with racing-themed graphics on the hood, fenders, and lower sides. It’s completed by a dedicated rear spoiler and specific logos on the wheels.
The interior also receives a special treatment, with two-tone upholstery in Race Red suede microfiber and light gray. The seats additionally feature RACE Edition embroidery.
The most interesting feature is the Turbo mode, which, once activated, alters the accelerator response to make it more immediate. However, it does not change the top speed or the limits set by regulations; it is simply a different setting for power delivery, not an increase in the officially approved performance.

Prices: Promotion for the new Zero MX
The Eli ZERO range is already available for ordering through Italy’s authorized dealership network. The base ZERO model starts at 10,900 euros, while the new ZERO MX L7e is priced at 16,900 euros. This is a promotional price valid until December 31, 2026 (the regular price would be 1,000 euros higher).
For the RACE Edition, the prices are 16,900 euros for the L6e version and 18,900 euros for the L7e version.
