Edenred completes acquisition of The Mobility House Solutions

Edenred has completed its acquisition of The Mobility House Solutions, strengthening its position in the European fleet electrification market. The business, which specialises in turnkey charging infrastructure and intelligent energy management for fleets, will now operate under the name Edenred E-Mobility GmbH.
Following the transaction announced in June, the former The Mobility House subsidiary is combining its technological expertise with the global sales network of B2B mobility service provider UTA Edenred. The company offers fuel and charging cards, among other fleet services, and serves more than 300,000 corporate customers worldwide. The portfolio continues to centre on the manufacturer-independent ChargePilot charging and energy management system, which is designed to prevent grid overloads and reduce operating costs for fleet operators.
Drawing on experience from more than 2,700 managed projects and over 2,500 actively supported fleet depots, Edenred E-Mobility GmbH positions itself as an end-to-end partner for businesses, logistics fleets, car dealerships and property operators. Its portfolio covers the entire value chain, from manufacturer-independent consulting and charging infrastructure installation to technical support and billing services. The company also integrates home charging for company car drivers into its offering.
For The Mobility House, the sale marks a strategic shift towards new business areas. As previously announced, the company plans to focus more strongly on vehicle-to-grid technology, flexibility marketing and energy trading. At the same time, it will remain commercially connected to Edenred through its Energy Unit, with the two companies continuing to work together to integrate electric fleets into the energy system as flexible energy assets.
Heiko Bayer, Managing Director of Edenred E-Mobility GmbH, said the completed transaction marks the start of the company’s next phase of growth. He expects demand for integrated B2B fleet charging solutions to continue rising and believes Edenred’s global sales network will enable the company to scale its end-to-end offering more quickly. The aim is to provide customers with a unified charging platform covering depot, public and home charging.
Pierre Jalady, CEO of UTA Edenred and Edenred Mobility EMEA, said the acquisition strengthens the company’s strategy for fleet electrification. He highlighted Edenred E-Mobility GmbH’s technical expertise and the ChargePilot energy management system as key additions to the group’s portfolio, enabling it to offer fleet operators across Europe an integrated ecosystem designed to simplify and optimise the transition to electric mobility while reducing costs.
For customers and partners, the transaction will not affect existing contracts, contact persons or the company’s Munich headquarters. The established The Mobility House Solutions and ChargePilot brands will also remain in place, while only the company’s legal name changes to Edenred E-Mobility GmbH.
