ECOFACTOR is launching operations in Poland as an operator of a public charging network (CPO). This marks the beginning of a new chapter in its activities in Poland. Previously, the company has developed hardware and software solutions for electric mobility in various markets.

The first charging station is already available to drivers in Tychy. This is just the start of a larger plan that includes expanding to over 300 charging points in Poland, according to the company’s statement.

Goal: a dense network in cities

ECOFACTOR’s strategy focuses on developing infrastructure near where drivers spend their time daily: residential areas, workplaces, shops, parking lots, and service points.

The goal is not merely to be present in as many cities as possible. This new player in our market aims to gradually increase infrastructure density within specific towns.

A Symbolic Start

– We don’t want to build a network where drivers have to plan their day around chargers. We want charging to be a natural part of everyday life: at home, at work, while shopping, or in other places where the car stays for an extended period. The first station launched is a symbolic start for us. We have plans to develop over 300 locations and establish a real, widespread presence in Polish cities – said Tomasz Kloc, Regional Director, ECOFACTOR

AC first, then DC

In the initial phase of network development, ECOFACTOR focuses primarily on AC stations, which well meet the needs of places where cars are parked for several hours: at home, at the office, while shopping, or during other daily activities.

As the network expands, where the usage pattern of a location justifies it and technical conditions along with available connection capacity permit it, the company will also add DC fast charging stations to its infrastructure, according to the firm.

ECOFACTOR operates in 16 markets, has designed and produced over 25,000 AC and DC charging stations, and its app is used by more than 400,000 EV drivers. The company’s platform supports around 5,000 charging points and works with nearly 850 CPO operators.
