Dongfeng VIGO is unveiled to the Portuguese at SAHE

Just a few weeks after its launch in the domestic market, the Dongfeng VIGO makes its live debut at the SAHE in Porto.
Dongfeng entered Portugal just over two years ago with the Box, a 100% electric utility vehicle, but it has since rapidly expanded its product range.
One of the latest additions is called VIGO, named after a Spanish city, and comes with a price point aimed at attracting Portuguese consumers; we’ve already tested it. Now it’s your turn to try it out at the Hybrid and Electric Car Show in Alfândega do Porto, which runs until October 18th.
Up to 340 km of range
At 4.3 meters in length, this is a 100% electric SUV designed to enter one of the most competitive segments in Europe: the B-SUV category.
For this reason, and to simplify the consumer’s choice, the Chinese SUV is available only with an electric motor of 120 kW (163 hp) and a 51.87 kWh LFP battery, offering an announced range of up to 340 km in combined cycle testing (WLTP). In urban driving conditions, however, the VIGO promises a range of over 520 km between charges.

When it’s time to charge, it supports charging speeds of up to 167 kW in direct current (DC), which means it takes just 18 minutes to charge the battery from 30% to 80%.
In addition, as we’ve seen with other recent proposals, the Chinese electric B-SUV is also available with bidirectional charging technology. This means we can use battery power to supply external devices at a capacity of up to 3.3 kW.
How much does it cost?
The new Dongfeng VIGO is available starting at 33,307 euros (26,990 euros + VAT) and can only be ordered in the One Edition version.
The brand offers a 7-year warranty or 300,000 km warranty, along with a 10-year battery warranty without a mileage limit.
