The Dodge Charger Daytona has arrived in Poland. 670 HP and around 400,000 zł for this electric muscle car
Dodge opened European orders for the new Charger on June 10, 2026, with first deliveries expected in September 2026. For the first time in its history, this model is also available as a fully electric version, namely the Charger Daytona with a 100.5 kWh battery, AWD drive, and up to 670 horsepower. In Poland, the car is already available for order through authorized partners, but it doesn’t seem like an affordable toy.
670 horsepower, 3.3 seconds to 100 km/h, and over 5.2 meters in length
The electric lineup comes in two variants. The Charger Daytona R/T offers 536 horsepower, while the more powerful Scat Pack delivers 670 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque. In both versions, power is standardly sent to all four wheels, with two engines handling each axle.
The Scat Pack accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds. Dodge also adds Launch Control, Line Lock, and a PowerShot function that temporarily boosts power by 40 HP. There’s also a limited-slip mechanical differential on the rear axle. In short, the manufacturer wants to emphasize that this is still a Charger, just powered by electricity.
Beneath the floor lies a 100.5 kWh NCA lithium-ion battery made up of 13 modules, weighing around 615 kg. The claimed range for the Daytona Scat Pack in the European specification is over 426 km. It’s not astonishing, but given that this car focuses more on performance than efficiency, record-breaking range wasn’t really expected.
The weak points? The 400 V architecture and a maximum fast-charging power of about 183 kW. With a battery exceeding 100 kWh, it’s not at the top of the market, especially when compared to 800-volt competitors.
The car is also simply huge. It’s about 525 cm long, 203 cm wide without mirrors, and has a wheelbase of 308 cm. The R/T version weighs around 2585 kg, with the Scat Pack being even heavier. Inside, it can seat five people, and the trunk offers 645 liters of space, which increases to 1059 liters when the rear seats are folded down. So it’s more of a liftback GT than a pure coupe.
Sales in Poland have already started, but the pricing remains unclear
The new Charger is sold in Europe by importer KWA, and in Poland, authorized dealerships are already operating in cities such as Warsaw, Józefów, Pruszków, Poznań, Białystok, Chorzów, and Długołęka near Wrocław. Vehicles from the European distribution come with EU homologation and standard service support. This is a significant change, as previously most Chargers reached us through private imports from the US or Canada.
The price makes it less elegant. The official European range for the new Charger starts at 66,000 euros, which is around 287,000 zł at the exchange rate as of September 16, but that is just the entry point for the entire model family—the price for the 670-horsepower Daytona Scat Pack has not been confirmed yet. Dealers are already accepting orders, and discussions suggest the cost for the most powerful electric vehicle will be around 400,000 zł.
For comparison, Edmark dealer quotes the gasoline-powered Charger SIXPACK Scat Pack at 413,900 zł for the two-door version and 424,900 zł for the four-door liftback. And this is where Daytona’s most interesting problem arises: its biggest rival might be available in the same dealership.
The production of the next generation takes place in Windsor, Ontario, at Stellantis’ Canadian factory designed for the STLA Large platform. In terms of performance, it aims to compete with vehicles like the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N and Kia EV6 GT, and even surpass models such as the Porsche Taycan and Audi e-tron GT. The difference is that none of these cars emulate a classic American muscle car as consistently.
On paper, this is a niche within a niche, but that might just be its greatest advantage. Does anyone here see value in an electric Charger priced at around 400,000 zł? At that price, would you opt for the gasoline version instead?
