With exceptional interior practicality, Dacia has once again succeeded with its new 155 HP ‘affordable’ hybrid SUV, which promises 4.2 l/100 km fuel consumption.

The Dacia Striker represents a new step in expanding the range of the Renault Group manufacturer. Following the successful Dacia Sandero Hybrid and Dacia Duster Hybrid, its new model combines features typical of a traditional family car with certain aesthetic elements of SUVs. In this way, it aims to attract those who need a spacious and practical vehicle without necessarily bearing the price of higher-end models. Additionally, it features a 155 HP self-charging hybrid engine that helps reduce fuel consumption without relying on an outlet.
The new model is positioned above Dacia’s smaller cars and shares some of its design concepts with the Dacia Bigster Hybrid, though it features a lower and longer body style. The Striker Hybrid is aimed especially at families and drivers who travel long distances and are looking for an alternative to conventional SUVs. Its hybrid system combines a gasoline engine with electric propulsion and comes equipped with the DGT’s ECO label.

Price of the Dacia Striker Hybrid (2026 model)
The Dacia Striker Hybrid 155 has a starting price of 26,820 euros in Spain. This engine option is the range’s plug-in hybrid alternative, combining 155 hp with an automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. Its pricing is particularly attractive, offering a 4,620 mm wheelbase and a full hybrid system for less than 27,000 euros.
The range offers different levels of equipment that allow the car to be tailored to budget and needs. Among them is the Journey trim, which costs 28,820 euros and includes a more comprehensive set of comfort and technology features. Notable amenities include a 10.1-inch touchscreen multimedia system, a 7-inch digital dashboard, automatic climate control, connected navigation, wireless phone integration, and various driving assistants.
In higher trims, features such as a heated steering wheel, wireless charger, and 18-inch alloy wheels are also available. Dacia offers additional optional equipment related to safety and parking. The City Pack includes multiple view cameras, front and side sensors, blind spot detection, and a rear traffic alert with automatic braking. This way, the Striker can come equipped with technologies typically found in more expensive vehicles, though some of them require additional packages.
Engine and Fuel Consumption

The Dacia Striker Hybrid 155 uses a self-charging hybrid system consisting of a four-cylinder atmospheric gasoline engine, along with two electric motors. The thermal engine produces 107 HP, while the main electric motor delivers 49 HP and can propel the vehicle independently. A second electric unit of 20 HP primarily functions as a generator and helps manage the vehicle’s energy system. The combined commercial power output is 155 HP.
The lithium-ion battery has a capacity of 1.4 kWh and is recharged through energy recovery during decelerations and by the hybrid system itself. It does not require plugging into an electrical outlet. The multi-mode automatic transmission allows switching between electric, thermal, and combined mode depending on power requirements and driving conditions. Power is transmitted exclusively to the front wheels.
The homologated fuel consumption is 4.2 l/100 km, with CO2 emissions of 96 g/km, figures that qualify it for the DGT’s ECO label. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 9.2 seconds and reaches a top speed of 180 km/h. These performance metrics are sufficient for the Striker’s family-oriented approach, which prioritizes efficiency and everyday usability over particularly sporty handling.
Dimensions of the Dacia Striker Hybrid (2026 model)

The Dacia Striker Hybrid is 4,620 mm long, 1,824 mm wide, and 1,525 mm tall. Its wheelbase measures 2,704 mm, a figure that enables it to offer five seats in a relatively low and long body style. It is slightly longer than the Bigster, but its proportions are different and more similar to those of a family sedan with greater ground clearance.
The weight of the Journey Hybrid 155 is 1,457 kg, while its ground clearance reaches 190 mm. This latter figure is particularly useful for driving on well-maintained roads or overcoming certain obstacles, though it does not make the Striker a true off-roader. Its turning radius around curbs is 11.16 meters, a reasonable value for a vehicle over 4,600 mm in length.
Interior

The interior of the Dacia Striker Hybrid 155 follows a functional philosophy, featuring a simple design and carefully selected materials to ensure durability and ease of maintenance. The layout combines robust-looking surfaces with decorative elements that vary depending on the trim level. It also includes the ‘YouClip’ system, which allows accessories such as phone holders, cup holders, or small organizers to be placed in various locations inside the cabin.
In terms of technology, it comes equipped with a 7-inch digital dashboard and a 10.1-inch central multimedia screen. Depending on the specification, it may include connected navigation, wireless phone integration, and a 6-speaker Arkamys sound system. Higher trims also offer wireless charging, automatic climate control, and other comfort features.
The cabin is rated for 5 passengers and features a wheelbase of 2,704 mm. The rear seat bench can be folded in a 60:40 ratio, while the family-oriented body style offers practicality for daily commuting. The Journey trim includes features such as an electrically adjustable driver’s seat, which enhances the adjustability of the driving position.
Dacia Striker Hybrid Trunk (2026 model)

The Dacia Striker Hybrid 155 offers 489 liters of trunk space in the Journey trim. This is a sufficient capacity for a family vehicle, though it falls short compared to other trims of the model. It should be noted that the available space depends on the engine choice and selected equipment.
By folding down the rear seats, the capacity can reach 1,269 liters in the Journey version. Additionally, Dacia provides a reversible modular loading floor divided into three sections, and in certain trims, an electric power liftgate—a feature that appears for the first time in the brand’s lineup.
Reviews

The Dacia Striker Hybrid 155 is particularly interesting as it offers a family-sized body length of 4,620 mm, an automatic transmission, an ECO rating, and a certified fuel consumption of just 4.2 l/100 km, at a starting price of 26,820 euros. Its self-charging hybrid system eliminates the need for a charging station, and its 155 HP provides sufficient performance for regular driving. Although its 489-liter trunk space in the Journey trim isn’t as impressive as one might expect given its length, the combination of interior space, equipment, and purchase price makes it a viable alternative to more expensive SUVs and family cars.
