Charging stations in beautiful locations: an Enel X station near the abbey

"Dear Vaielettrico, I wanted to share with you and your readers the photo attached. I rode my bike to the Fossanova Abbey (Latina), one of only three churches in Italy built in the Circean style. To my surprise, I found a newly installed Enel X charging station in the parking lot with a Porsche being charged. The background is delightful, not only due to the greenery of the area but also because of the beauty of its dome. Electric vehicle owners can charge while enjoying the scenery and also taking advantage of the services offered by the two bars next to the abbey. We often complain about where these charging stations are installed and about the vandalism they suffer. However, I think it’s just as important to highlight the good aspects as well. Answer. No one would think of putting a gas station in a place like this. With an electric vehicle charging station and proper precautions, it’s possible to do so without ruining anything. It also allows people to charge their cars while visiting the abbey and everything around it. We await further reports, including photos, to “refresh our eyes” a bit.
