Cogeser has 30 charging stations: another 22 kW charger from the Lombardy-based company was unveiled in Basiano (Milan).

It’s not just large networks that are rapidly installing 350 kW and higher capacity charging stations across Europe. Electric vehicle drivers, perhaps using city cars, also need AC charging points where they can charge more slowly while doing other things. This initiative covers areas that previously lacked such facilities. The station opened by Cogeser Energia is the first of its kind in the municipality of Basiano. It is a project supported by the local government (mayor Stefania Solcia was present at the opening, see photo). For Cogeser, this 30th charging station marks seven years since the launch of its e-Mobility project in 2019. The company’s roadmap now calls for 10 new installations by the end of next half-year and 50 stations by 2030. These goals are confirmed in the latest sustainability report.
Payment also possible with RFID Card
The new station features a 22kW AC charging post along with two additional charging points. It also includes an integrated cable, LED status indicators, built-in load management, electrical protections, and a multilingual display. Two parking spaces and an information kiosk are available for users. Charging can be done through Cogeser’s E-move app (available on Google Play and App Store), QR codes, and RFID cards. Cogeser customers are entitled to discounts on their bills. “We hope that progress will continue in the field of electric mobility, that the electric vehicle market will grow stronger, and that incentive policies will enable more citizens to switch to cleaner transportation options,” said Franco Tornaghi from Cogeser Energia.
