Citroën ë-C5 Aircross: up to 8,650 € in purchase subsidies for this family electric SUV

Launched a few months ago, the new C5 Aircross is available with a 2,500 € purchase assistance offer. On top of that, there’s the EU subsidy for the electric version... along with the possibility to negotiate further discounts more easily.

Arriving at dealerships at the end of 2025, the second generation of the C5 Aircross hasn’t even reached its first service interval yet, but it already benefits from attractive offers, in addition to the “boost” subsidy for the electric ë-C5 Aircross version.

This latter model comes with a subsidy of at least 3,600 €. However, lower-income households may receive 6,150 € (for the first to third income deciles) or 6,000 € (for the fourth and fifth income deciles).

There is also a buy-back offer available. In September, it was announced to be 2,500 €. This means a total of up to 8,650 € in subsidies. But our advice is to ask for more, reminding them that the buy-back offer this summer was 4,000 €!

With the 2,500 € buy-back assistance and the maximum EU subsidy, the starting price of the electric version drops from 40,990 € to 32,340 €! This is an excellent deal for a large SUV with ample interior space, a huge 565-liter trunk, and a WLTP combined range of 520 km. Its 160 kW DC charging capacity is also top-notch in its class. A 11 kW three-phase onboard charger is standard.

The equipment is already quite generous, including 19-inch wheels, adaptive cruise control, and a nice 13-inch vertical screen as standard. True to Citroën’s style, this SUV also stands out for its comfort.
