Citroën ë-C3 Outdoor: the affordable 'made in Europe' electric car with a rugged outdoor look

Citroën expands the range of the C3 and C3 Aircross with the introduction of a new Outdoor trim level, which sits above the Max finish. This adventurous-themed version features a completely new body kit designed to give both vehicles a more rugged appearance.
At the front, there is a gray-colored trim that resembles the protective plate on off-road vehicles, though it serves only an aesthetic purpose here. On the Aircross, this element also incorporates LED fog lights. Some body elements (the brand logo, inserts on the front bumper, and the C-pillar) are painted red.
At the bottom of the doors, there is a gray insert with the OUTDOOR logo, featuring a design of a new mascot (Migoo) that appears to be inspired by the yeti. The alloy wheels are 17 inches in size and have a square design on both models. This variant is available in five colors: black, gray, white, blue, and the new sequoia green.
Inside the cabin, there is a new upholstery with red stitching and horizontal patterns. The mascot Migoo appears again, this time on the backrests of the front seats. The seat belts are also red. No details have been provided regarding the standard equipment, but everything suggests it will be similar to or better than that of the Max.

The Citroën ë-C3 and ë-C3 Aircross Outdoor still do not have prices announced in Spain.
The C3 Outdoor can be equipped with a 110 HP hybrid powertrain or the electric version (ë-C3) featuring a 44 kWh battery, which is the most capacity-rich of the two available options (the other has a 30 kWh battery). Citroën claims a WLTP range of up to 323 km. Its price has not been revealed yet, but it is likely to be more expensive than the ë-C3 Max, which starts at 22,200 euros before any subsidies in our country.
The C3 Aircross Outdoor is available with 110 HP and 145 HP hybrid powertrains, as well as the electric variant (ë-C3 Aircross) with a 54 kWh battery; again, this is the most capacity-rich of the two electric versions (the other has a 44 kWh battery). The zero-emission model boasts a WLTP range of up to 397 km. In Spain, the ë-C3 Aircross Max costs 30,140 euros.

In recent months, Citroën has expanded its range of its two best-selling models with new trim levels and special editions: although their initial lineup was very simple (You, Plus, and Max), both have received Collection variants; additionally, the C3 has also gained a Tonic edition.
