CEER Exobot: extreme wedge-shaped EV from Saudi Arabia with 625 kW

The CEER Exobot Sedan and Ceer Exobot SUV are two extreme electric vehicles from Saudi Arabia, featuring a bold design and a triple-motor powertrain. The maximum power is 625 kW, and the NMC battery has a capacity of 112 kWh. The CEER Exobots will hit the market next year.
What is CEER?

CEER is an EV manufacturer from Saudi Arabia, founded in 2022 and based in Riyadh. The Arabic name is سير, pronounced as “sier.” The word has a broad meaning: driving, movement, being on the road. Its English slogan is “Bold. Extraordinary. Saudi. The Future is CEER.”

The automaker’s main production facility, the Ceer Electric Vehicle Manufacturing Complex, is located in King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC), an economic zone on the Red Sea coast. The factory is still under construction, but most of the buildings have already been built.
The main shareholders of CEER Motors are the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF) and the Taiwanese company Foxconn.
PIF is Saudi Arabia’s sovereign investment fund, led by Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman (MBS). It funds projects aimed at reducing Saudi Arabia’s economic dependence on oil as part of the Saudi Vision 2030 strategy.
Foxconn is best known as a contract manufacturer for Apple and other electronics giants, but it has also become an increasingly important player in the automotive industry in recent years. It produces cars under the Foxtron brand name and serves as a supplier/contract manufacturer for companies such as Luxgen and Sharp.
Foxconn is responsible for a significant portion of the technological foundation, including the vehicle platform, electrical architecture, and systems for infotainment, connectivity, and autonomous driving. CEER also collaborates with three key technology partners for the core components. BMW provides technology through a licensing agreement that CEER uses in developing its cars.
The powertrain is divided between two specialists: Hyundai Transys supplies the integrated electric drive system for the front axle, while Rimac Technology is responsible for the drive system on the rear axle. The battery supplier has not yet been announced.
Local suppliers

As is common with projects of this kind, such as Olinia in Mexico, establishing a local supply chain is a key goal to reduce reliance on companies in other countries. CEER aims to source 45% of its components from local suppliers by 2034. Earlier this year, CEER signed agreements with 16 Saudi companies worth 3.7 billion SAR (860 million euros), in addition to previous similar deals totaling 5.5 billion SAR (1.2 billion euros).
"Exobot" is a series name. There are two variants: the CEER Exobot Sedan and the CEER Exobot SUV. Both vehicles feature an extremely wedge-shaped design with giant wing doors that provide access to the entire cabin.
The CEER Exobot Sedan

The CEER Exobobot Sedan features a windshield that is 2.44 meters long. The glass extends all the way to the middle of the roof, where the hinges for the wing doors are located.

The doors themselves are also mostly made of glass. The Exobot Sedan’s dimensions are 5260/21012/1482, with a wheelbase of 3200 millimeters. CEER also specifies the door height as 2250 mm. The wheels are enormous: 23 inches at the front and 24 inches at the back.
The CEER Exobot SUV
The CEER Exobot SUV sits higher on its wheels, and the wedge shape is even more pronounced here: the roof line runs straight back before sloping downward toward the bumper area. Its dimensions are 5016/2101/1693, with a wheelbase of 3200 millimeters. The ground clearance is 280 mm, and the door height reaches a remarkable 2510 mm. The SUV is equipped with smaller all-terrain tires: 20 inches at the front and 22 inches at the back.
The interior
The large glass surface makes the cabin of the Ceer Exobot Sedan and SUV resemble a fighter jet more than an electric car, especially with the yoke-style steering wheel. The dashboard features a 48-inch 8K panoramic screen and a 10.4-inch screen in the center. Right in front of this screen, there is even a panel with physical buttons.
The Nappa leather seats have a CEER logo on the headrest and a triangular decoration on the backrest. They are designed for four passengers, with space for two adults in the rear seat. Due to the design of the wing doors, the main cabin space at the back appears quite limited.
The Sedan has a cargo capacity of 424 liters, while the SUV can only hold 402 liters of luggage.
Ceer Exobot Platform and Specifications
The CEER Exobot Sedan and Exobot SUV are built on the “Exobot modular platform” with an 800 V architecture. The powertrain consists of three electric motors that together deliver 625 kW and 1000 Nm of torque. The Sedan accelerates from 0-100 in 2.6 seconds, while the SUV takes 2.9 seconds.
The CEER Exobots come equipped with a 112 kWh NCM battery. The Sedan has a range of 670 km, and the SUV covers 560 kilometers. The 10-80% charging time is a comfortable 30 minutes. The chassis features steer-by-wire and brake-by-wire systems, all-wheel drive, and dual-chamber air suspension.
Buy?
The first deliveries of the CEER Exobot are scheduled for March 2027. Mass production is set to begin in January 2027. Prices have not been announced yet. There will be two versions: the Exobot First Edition and then the regular Exobot Plus.
There are four interior color combinations and five exterior colors: Abha Green, Harrat Gray, Sky Silver, and Obaya Black. Buyers can also choose from various contrasting stripes and other extras. The configurator is already available online (Sedan, SUV), but ordering is not yet possible.
CEER is also working on performance variants with 828 kW and 1500 Nm, which are scheduled for mid-2027.
