Tesla has opened the Supercharger Bytom, which is also available for cars of other brands. The prices are attractive as well—Tesla owners and drivers with a subscription outside peak hours will pay only 1.1 PLN/kWh. The maximum rate (no Tesla, no subscription, peak hours) is 2.4 PLN/kWh, a price that would typically require a monthly fee or a promotional offer from many other providers. In summary: in an increasing number of cities in Poland, even people living in apartment buildings can charge at rates similar to those available at 230 V outlets.

First, the most important details: location (Tesla Supercharger Map HERE) and accurate pricing:
1.1 PLN/kWh from 0-9 AM for Teslas and drivers with a paid subscription (50 PLN/month).
1.7 PLN/kWh from 9 AM-0 AM for Teslas and drivers with a paid subscription.
1.6 PLN/kWh from 0-9 AM for drivers of other brands without a subscription.
2.4 PLN/kWh from 9 AM-0 AM for drivers of other brands without a subscription.
The maps show that the Supercharger is less than 2 kilometers from highway A1 and that it has a total of 8 charging stations capable of delivering up to 250 kW for Teslas or around 200 kW for vehicles from other brands with a 400 V architecture. Owners of models with an 800 V (500+ V) architecture will generally waste time there but save money Most importantly, the Supercharger is located within the M1 Bytom shopping center, so even residents living in apartments who plan their purchases carefully (Auchan opens at 7:30…) can charge at a very low cost. Specifically, 110 groszy per kWh.

Moya’s network of gas stations has announced a summer promotion: at 14 stations across the country with capacities up to 120 kW, we can pay 1.99 PLN/kWh. These are the locations:

If we decide to purchase the EV Moya Energia Start package for 4.9 zlotys, we will reduce charging costs by an additional 25 groszy (1.74 zlotys/kWh), while the EV Moya Energia Turbo package for 19.9 zlotys will save us 50 groszy (1.49 zlotys/kWh). Are there any catches? Unfortunately, yes: first, the provider is unclear in their communications, encouraging purchases of packages to lower rates, but at the same time firmly stating that “promotions cannot be combined with other promotions.”
Secondly, the app creates confusion by showing prices WITHOUT the discount from the subscription, with discounts only applied after the energy top-up process is complete. Finally, it’s important to remember that the cheaper subscription is a one-time deal, as it will become more expensive starting September 1st, at 19.9 or 59.9 zloty per month respectively. Charging rates will also rise, so even the monthly fee will provide less financial relief.
Up to 540 kW at the Pevna Energy station in Kraków
In the Atut Ruczaj shopping center in Krakow (Google Maps HERE), another ultra-fast electric vehicle charging station has been opened in Poland. The operator claims to offer up to 540 kW per connector (1.08 MW per charger!) thanks to the use of three separate power connections. There are three units at this location, each with two charging points, and they can be tested until the end of August for 1.79 zł/kWh. On the Elocity app, the rate is even lower at 1.78 zł/kWh.
