We are creating a catalog of electric vehicle specialists. Along with WLTP figures, we want to include road test data as well.
As I wrote earlier, we want LovEV to be more than just a news service. It’s meant to be your source of information on EVs. We recently launched an EV for sale listings module, and now we’re adding electric vehicles one by one on LovEV. Different battery, different drive system, different specs. The grid shows the model, with variations listed inside.
This isn’t another price list with homologation details. Homologation information remains. We want to include alongside it the figures related to road use.

What’s on the page
On the version page, we include paper-based data: WLTP range, battery, power, starting price, when it’s listed in the price guide.
Next to that, if we have a source, we add the ADAC Ecotest results and the Euro NCAP rating. These aren’t our tests—they’re figures from public procedures, with links provided.
The third category: driver results. Fuel consumption or range for a specific vehicle. We display the median when at least three published entries are available. This does not replace our editorial testing.
How to submit a result
Go to the catalog, select the model, then the version with the battery and drive type you use. The form is on the version page, in the “Range in Practice” section. An account is required.
On the vehicle family page, there is a list of versions with links. We assign the result to the specific trim level, not the entire family.
Winter and summer driving require separate entries if that is how you use the vehicle.
If the data is incorrect
Pricing changes. Homologation standards also change. Sometimes we make mistakes too.
The page has a link labeled “Report Data Error.” It opens an email to us with the vehicle’s title and page address. Describe what is wrong, and we will fix it.

What we do not promise
The catalog helps with comparison. It is not a homologation certificate nor a contract. Verify the key figures with the manufacturer before calculating the loan or route cost.
The driver’s rating applies to one car and set of conditions. ADAC and Euro NCAP have their own procedures. We do not mix them with WLTP nor include their data in rankings.
We start by ensuring the database is large enough and updatable. The rest will follow once there is enough content to fill it.
