Budimex Mobility extends the promotion until September 30, 2026. AC at 1.56 zł, DC at 1.80 zł/kWh
Budimex Mobility has extended the summer promotion for charging electric cars by another month, until September 30, 2026. The rates remain unchanged at 1.56 PLN/kWh for AC and 1.80 PLN/kWh for DC, with the offer now covering 93 stations in 32 locations available through the Elocity app.
This mainly benefits drivers who would otherwise pass these charging points on their way. At 1.80 PLN/kWh for DC, it’s actually cheaper than many fast chargers in Poland.
The network has grown with the promotion
Originally, the campaign was set to end on August 31, 2026, and included 88 stations in 31 locations. Now we have not only a longer duration but also a slight expansion in scale, with 93 stations across 32 cities and towns.
Budimex also states that in July, the number of loading sessions on its network increased by 41 percent year-on-year or month-on-month from the operator’s perspective, while the market average was 15 percent according to UDT data from the EIPA registry. The increase itself should be viewed with caution, as a smaller network tends to show higher growth rates more easily. But given these figures, the interest is not surprising.
The highest concentration of promotional points can be found in Poznań, Szczecin, Chorzów, Gorzów Wielkopolski, and Siedlce. Other cities on the list include Wrocław, Rzeszów, Gdańsk, Gdynia, Koszalin, Krosno, Augustów, Jakuszyce, Pisz, and Ruciane-Nida.
Where this offer makes the most sense
On paper, the promotion covers both AC and DC charging, but in practice the fast charging part offers the biggest benefit. A rate of 1.80 zł/kWh for DC is currently high enough to significantly reduce the cost of electric travel, especially if a car consumes 18-20 kWh per 100 km. In such a scenario, driving 100 km would cost around 32-36 zł.
AC charging at 1.56 zł/kWh also seems reasonable, though competition is often fiercer here, particularly in urban areas or with slower public chargers. In short, the promotion is most beneficial where DC charging already costs significantly more under normal circumstances.
Among the more interesting locations are also stations along the TEN-T routes, namely Banino at Lotnicza 97A and Kobylnica at Główna 89. These are sites built under the CEF/AFIF program, equipped with chargers capable of 400 kW and 180 kW respectively, featuring CCS connectors. Of course, the maximum charging power of the charger does not guarantee such speeds for the vehicle. As usual, factors like the car itself, battery condition, and charging curve limit performance.
The full list includes 93 stations, so rather than copying the entire list into an article, it’s better to check them directly in the Elocity app before heading out. Especially since in such situations, details can determine whether you’ll find an AC charger at a service station or a truly useful DC charger along the route.
