Bonus Colonnine: Gse updates the list — how to choose the right wallbox

If you want to access the Bonus Colonnine program, whether through the 2026 or 2027 call for applications, be careful about the wallbox model you purchase. Only devices listed on the Gse’s list, updated on October 20, are eligible for these incentives. Therefore, it is essential to verify that the model you choose is on the official list before making a purchase.
List updated with new models
In a statement, Gse emphasizes that updating the lists «is intended solely to include new models communicated by manufacturers and to increase the number of devices eligible for the incentives provided under Bonus Colonnine».
It is therefore not just a formal requirement, but also an opportunity for users, who can benefit from a wider range of products to choose from.
Those Excluded from the Charging Station Bonus Speak Out, Angry – VIDEO
The document does not merely list brands and models; it also provides some basic information useful for guiding choices. Among these is the type of power supply, which can be single-phase or three-phase. Alternating current (AC) is the form in which electrical energy is distributed through low- and medium-voltage networks (LV and MV), and it can be made available in both single-phase and three-phase versions.
The Ministry Responds to Those Excluded from the Charging Station Bonus
Almost all homes in Italy are connected to the single-phase low-voltage grid. However, many AC charging systems are available in both configurations. The three-phase version allows for higher power output, provided the vehicle has an onboard charger capable of utilizing multiple phases and the home electrical system has the required contracted power capacity.
Charging stations from 3.7 to 22 kW
Another piece of information provided to users is the maximum power that can be delivered by the charging device, expressed in kW. Scrolling through the list reveals a wide range of options: from smaller wallboxes with 3.7 and 4.6 kW, to those with 7.4 kW, up to numerous models with 11 and 22 kW. The latter allow for faster charging times and can also be suitable for light commercial vehicles or more intensive usage. Of course, to fully utilize their capabilities, the charging installation must have an appropriate contracted power capacity.

The list also shows the available connection methods. Depending on the model, you may find configurations with Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and SIM, with Ethernet and SIM, or only Wi-Fi. This is important information for those who want to monitor and manage charging remotely via apps or dedicated platforms.

Another useful feature relates to scheduling, namely the ability to automatically set the power consumption based on different tariff periods or daily and weekly times. However, reviewing the list shows that this function is not available on all devices. For some users, especially those interested in optimizing consumption or taking advantage of the most favorable rates, the presence of scheduling could therefore be a decisive factor in choosing a wallbox.
There are 70 different brands to choose from
The list of compatible charging devices includes over 70 different brands and manufacturers. A broad ecosystem has developed, with major international names alongside numerous small domestic operators. Some of the most well-known brands include ABB, BMW AG, BTicino, ChargePoint, Eaton, Elli (Volkswagen Group), Enel X, Free2Move eSolutions, Fronius, Gewiss, Growatt, Huawei, Keba, Mennekes, Scame, Schneider Electric, Silla (Prism), Sungrow, Wallbox Chargers, Zaptec, and ZCS Azzurro.
