Will we see Xpeng technology in European electric cars soon?

Like several other Chinese automakers, Xpeng has developed numerous technologies in-house. It now aims to generate revenue by offering these technologies to other brands, especially since its partnership with Volkswagen has already proven highly successful.
Electric, connected, and autonomous vehicles—technology is a core part of the image Xpeng has built. Customers are not the only ones benefiting; Volkswagen has also chosen this Chinese manufacturer to develop new technologies for the Chinese market. As a result, Volkswagen created the CMP platform and launched a major product rollout this year.

For Xpeng, this partnership is doubly beneficial. It has not only brought them significant credibility on both national and international stages but also generated substantial profits. Financial reports for the second quarter showed revenue of 2.7 billion RMB (353 million euros) from this technology licensing business, representing a 93.9% increase.
The automaker now aims to go further. It has established a new dedicated team to explore this sector. Among the technologies it hopes to share are the VLA 2.0 autonomous driving system (Vision Language Action), Turing processors, electronic architectures, and cockpit systems. But Xpeng is prepared to take it a step further and considers deploying its robots or robotaxis through partnerships.
According to Reuters, several potential partners have already shown interest. But no names have been mentioned yet.
