The Nissan Pixo arrives, another EV under 20,000 euros

The Nissan Pixo is here, another electric model with a starting price below 20,000 euros. It is based on the technical platform of the Renault Twingo.

If only there were still incentives... The choice of electric vehicles under 20,000 euros is starting to become broader. The Pixo, which will be unveiled on September 23, is announced as the sixth car to fall within this price range. It is hoped it will achieve greater success than its larger sibling, the Micra, which was also based on the Renault 5. Essentially, the technical foundation remains the same; only the style changes, aiming to draw inspiration from an interesting prototype seen in 2021, the Hang Out (photo above). Additionally, according to the French publication Automobile Propre, a Japanese version of the Renault Scenic is also on the way. Named Nissan Prairie, it will also be electric and is expected to appear in 2027.

Just above 20,000 euros is the Geely E2...

We recall that for next year, the budget-friendly model from Stellantis is also expected, priced below 20,000 euros. One of these models is set to bear a famous name like the Citroen 2CV, with production taking place in Pomigliano (Naples). It will be the first of three affordable electric vehicles from the group led by Antonio Filosa: after the Citroen, there will be a Fiat model and, surprisingly, an Alfa Romeo model as well. We should also note that just above 20,000 euros, the range of available models increases significantly. Among them is an interesting new model like the Geely E2, starting at 20,900 euros. It is quite spacious (414 cm long and 181 cm wide), equipped with a 35 kWh battery offering a range of 252 km. It supports AC charging up to 6.6 kW and DC charging up to 70 kW—ideal for those who mainly use it in the city...
