The Ioniq 3 (from the Hyundai group) is now available, with prices starting at 29,900 euros (27,900 euros with financing). Here are the key details.

The Ioniq 3 arrives, available with two battery options: 42 or 61 kW

Another electric model with a starting price below 30,000 euros. The versions within this range come equipped with a 42.2 kWh battery paired with an electric motor of 107.8 kW (146.5 hp). Their range is fairly limited, up to 344 km. Versions with a larger battery, 61 kWh, can reach up to 497 km. Naturally, the prices increase here, from 34,200 euros for the Select version to 44,700 euros for the N Line Launch Edition, the top model (see price list above). In the 61 kWh battery version, the motor has a power output of 99.5 kW (135.2 hp). The top speed for all versions is around 170 km/h. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 8.8 seconds for the 42 kWh battery version and 9.5 seconds for those with a 61 kWh battery.

Charging up to 350 kW (11 kW on AC)

The 400 Volt electrical architecture enables fast DC charging up to 350kW. Under optimal conditions, it takes about 29 minutes to reach 80% from 10% on the Standard Range configuration and 30 minutes on the Long Range version. A built-in charger is standard, accepting up to 11 kW of AC power. Meanwhile, a 22 kW three-phase charger (very useful) is standard on the N Line Launch Edition or available upon request on Trend, Prime, and N Line models. In some versions, the Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) function is available, allowing the energy stored in the battery to power external devices. Finally, the dimensions are 415 cm in length, 180 cm in width, and 150 cm in height. It’s about the size of a Fiat 600, placing it one tier above city cars.
