Aito will enter Europe in the fall of 2027. Huawei will give way to Bosch.

Seres announced on October 20, 2026, during the auto show in Paris that the Aito brand would debut in Europe in the fall of 2027. Vehicles prepared for export are set to use Bosch’s technology instead of Huawei’s solutions, which have contributed significantly to Aito’s success in China.

The change will affect driver assistance systems, the digital cockpit, and the suspension system. This is not a superficial switch of supplier but rather the development of a separate configuration for vehicles intended for foreign markets.

Bosch Inside instead of Huawei Inside

According to sources from China’s 36kr, international versions of the Aito 6, 7, 8, and 9 models will be developed in collaboration with Bosch. The project has been given the working name “Bosch Inside,” similar to China’s “Huawei Inside” model. The global supplier provides the manufacturer with ready-made technologies as well as expertise in meeting local regulations.

Bosch’s package is set to include ADAS, or advanced driver assistance systems, cockpit software, and solutions related to the chassis. Work is already underway. Seres plans to begin mass production of vehicles equipped with NOA for highway driving in September 2027, shortly before Aito’s expected entry into Europe.

NOA, or Navigate on Autopilot, drives the car along a predetermined route, performing tasks such as lane changes and passing through intersections. It remains an assistive system rather than an autonomous driver. The scope of its functions in Europe will depend on homologation and local regulations. The information provided does not clarify which countries Aito will start selling in or which models will be available first.

The Chinese offering for the brand is made possible through close cooperation with Huawei within the HIMA group. However, it is Seres Group that makes the key decisions for international expansion. Bosch is not an unexpected player here, as the two companies began collaborating in 2023.

Seres Organizes Exports Ahead of European Debut

The manufacturer is also set to integrate its international division directly into the Aito Business Group. This is intended to simplify coordination of development, sales, and market strategy efforts. The move comes amid price pressures in China and a declining trend in domestic retail sales, prompting other brands to seek growth outside their home markets.

However, Bosch’s technology alone will not solve all problems. Nio has already shown that the European expansion of this Chinese premium brand requires an expensive sales and service network, as well as building recognition from scratch. Aito has not yet announced a launch date, but no prices, list of countries, or distribution plan. These details will determine whether “Bosch Inside” becomes more than just an efficient way to navigate European homologation.
