Twelve days from Cluj-Napoca north into Maramures valley hush: Baia Mare mining-town light, Sighetu Marmatiei river lanes and the Merry Cemetery carved colour at Sapanta, Barsana and Ieud wooden church spires above orchard hills, Prislop pass belvederes toward the Rodna ridges, then east into Bucovina painted monastery frescoes at Voronet, Humor, Moldovita and Sucevita before Suceava fortress stone and a soft return through Bistrita. Next-e, Eldrive, Ionity and Tesla in the cities where present; highland and monastery valleys are thinner — cool battery, daylight mountain and pass legs, careful state of charge, unhurried wooden-church and fresco rhythm.
Season: Best May to June and September to early October. Winter snow can close Prislop and highland Maramures shoulders; summer heat is strong in the low valleys. Book overnight hotel wallbox or Next-e / Eldrive in Cluj, Baia Mare, Suceava and Bistrita when you can. Charge before Prislop, Rodna approaches and long monastery hops — cool battery, daylight mountain departure; coverage outside the main towns is thinner. Keep a careful state of charge on pass and ridge legs.
