Eight days of granite and cheese: Guarda, Covilha, Manteigas, the Torre, Linhares da Beira, Monsanto. Tesla in Guarda; the tower road eats range and can hold snow.
Season: Valley year-round. Torre typically May-October; snow and ice into May. Glacial valleys hold fog in November.
