Eight days of river and forest: Coimbra, the Mondego, Conimbriga, Lousa schist villages, Bussaco palace woods, Aveiro lagoon. Tesla in Coimbra; the schist lanes eat range.
Season: Year-round. Bussaco woods are wettest November-February. Queima das Fitas in Coimbra late May fills rooms. Aveiro boats thinner in winter.
