Holiday itinerary
Eight days of cliffs and inlets: Sagres, Lagos, Monchique, Silves, Tavira, the Guadiana at Alcoutim. Tesla in Lagos and Faro; the west cape eats range and the east is a quieter salt.
Season: Year-round. July-August is packed west of Faro. Sagres wind is serious in winter. Monchique hills greener November-April.
