Holiday itinerary
Eight days on the Norwegian Scenic Route Varanger: Kirkenes, Vadso, Vardo globus, Hamningberg at the end of the road. Arctic Ocean light, fishing villages, Tesla and Recharge in Kirkenes. Distances look short on the map and long in the wind.
Season: Open year-round; winter polar night, ice and closed side roads to Hamningberg after first snow. Summer midnight sun and birds.

The border town smells of diesel and snow even in July. Tesla overnight.
- Day 3 · Vadso
A church on the water and a wind that does not blink. Recharge in town.
- Day 5 · Vardo
The globe and the witch-trial memorial. Charge before Hamningberg; there is nothing at the end of that road.
- Day 6 · Vardo
Hamningberg and back in one unhurried day. The sea writes on the rocks in a language older than the road.
- Day 8 · Kirkenes
Home along the Tana. Last Tesla before the airport over the Russian border hills.
