Holiday itinerary
Twelve days from Tromso to the plateau at Nordkapp and back through Alta and Hammerfest. The road is a long pale line toward the Barents, with Tesla Superchargers in Tromso, Alta and Honningsvag so the Finnmark distances stay honest. Reindeer on the E6, then the globe at the end of Europe and a wind that writes on the car.
Season: The E69 to Nordkapp is usually open all year but can close in blizzards. Summer has midnight sun; winter has polar night and ice. Book the North Cape plateau ticket; destination charging in Honningsvag is more reliable than hoping for a free stall at the globe car park.

Holiday itinerary
- Day 1 · Tromso
Arctic cathedral glass over the sound. Overnight Tesla; tomorrow the long pale E6.
- Day 3 · Alta
Rock carvings and a river the colour of tea. Tesla Supercharger after 280 km of plateau; we arrived at 17 percent in a headwind.
- Day 5 · Honningsvag
The last town before the plateau. Charge here; the globe car park is wind and hope, not a plan.
- Day 6 · Honningsvag
Dawn on the plateau — or midnight sun — then back down the E69. Reindeer on the asphalt, fog on the cliffs.
- Day 8 · Hammerfest
The northernmost town that still pretends to be ordinary. Mer charger by the harbour, cod on the quay.
- Day 10 · Alta
Return south with a full pack after Hammerfest. Tesla again; the plateau wind had eaten more than the map promised.
- Day 12 · Tromso
Back under the bridge. Last Tesla before the airport; the sky still refused to go dark.
