Holiday itinerary

Twelve days on Kystriksveien, the Norwegian Scenic Route Helgelandskysten: six ferries, Torghatten, the Seven Sisters, then Bodo. An alternative to the E6 with Tesla in Trondheim, Mo i Rana and Bodo and Recharge in Bronnoysund. Daily hops stay under 200 km because the ferries eat the clock, not the battery.

Season: Six ferries; book EV spaces in July. Coastal road open year-round but winter storms cancel sailings. Midnight sun north of the Arctic Circle in June-July.

Holiday itinerary

  1. Day 1 · Trondheim

Nidaros stone and a Tesla before the coast road.

  2. Day 4 · Bronnoysund

Torghatten is a mountain with a hole the sea invented. Recharge after the ferry queue.

  3. Day 7 · Sandnessjoen

The Seven Sisters stand in a row like a weather argument. Overnight destination charge.

  4. Day 9 · Mo i Rana

Back toward the E6 for a Tesla that hits advertised power. We arrived at 19 percent after the last ferry.

  5. Day 12 · Bodo

The last harbour before Lofoten. Tesla overnight; tomorrow is a plane or a ferry, not another mountain.
