Holiday itinerary

Ten days of trulli and baroque: Bari, Alberobello, Ostuni, Locorotondo, Lecce, Otranto, Matera across the border. Tesla in Bari and Lecce; white towns are walking towns.

Season: Year-round. July-August heat and crowds on the Adriatic. Matera cave hotels book weeks ahead. Olive harvest October-November.
