Eight days of high plains: L Aquila, Gran Sasso, Campo Imperatore, Sulmona, the gorges of Sagittario, Scanno, the Trabocchi coast. Tesla in Pescara and L Aquila; the plateau road eats range.
Season: Campo Imperatore typically June-October; snow and closures into June. Trabocchi coast year-round. L Aquila winters are serious.
