Holiday itinerary
Ten days around Lake Balaton and the southern wine hills: Budapest, Szentendre, Veszprem, Balatonfured and Tihany, Keszthely with Heviz, Pecs and Villany, then back toward Budapest. Tesla, Ionity, Shell Recharge and MOL Plugee in the cities; summer crowds pack the lake shore — book overnight charge and arrive cool, not empty.
Season: Best May to September. Summer crowds pack Balatonfured and Tihany; book overnight Tesla, Ionity or hotel wallbox in Budapest and on the north shore. Wine-hill legs after Pecs ask for a cool battery and an early start.

Danube light holds the first evening. Overnight Tesla or Ionity.
- Day 2 · Szentendre
Art streets and Danube bend quiet. MOL Plugee after 24 percent.
- Day 3 · Veszprem
Castle hill above the Bakony. Charge after 22 percent.
- Day 5 · Balatonfured
Lake promenade and Tihany abbey across the water. Overnight Shell or Tesla if you can book.
- Day 6 · Tihany
Lavender slopes and abbey bells. Cool battery before the west shore.
- Day 7 · Keszthely
Festetics palace and Heviz steam nearby. Overnight MOL Plugee.
- Day 9 · Pecs
Mosque-church and Villany cellars ahead. Overnight Ionity or Tesla.
- Day 10 · Budapest
Last Tesla. Balaton light is still in the rear-view.
