Holiday itinerary
Eight days of limestone and turquoise: Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, the Route des Cretes, Lac de Sainte-Croix, Castellane, the lavender plateau of Valensole. Tesla in Aix and Manosque; the rim road is slow and the hairpins eat range.
Season: Rim road open most of the year; ice in January. Lavender late June-July. Kayaks on Sainte-Croix May-September. Summer heat on the plateau.

- Day 1 · Aix-en-Provence
Plane trees and a Tesla overnight. Tomorrow the plateau.
- Day 3 · Moustiers-Sainte-Marie
The star hung between two cliffs. Charge in Manosque; the village is stairs and faience.
- Day 5 · Castellane
The rock with a chapel on top. Overnight destination charge after the rim.
- Day 6 · Valensole
Lavender if you timed it. Charge before the plateau; stalls are thin.
- Day 8 · Aix-en-Provence
Last Tesla. The turquoise is still in the rear-view.
