Holiday itinerary
Ten days of stone and river: Orleans, Blois, Chambord, Chenonceau, Amboise, Tours, Chinon, Saumur. Tesla and Ionity on the A10 keep hops honest; the chateaux themselves are walking days.
Season: Open year-round. Gardens peak May-June. August is crowded interiors.

Holiday itinerary

The river is wide and the Tesla is by the ring. Tomorrow Chambord eats the morning.
- Day 3 · Blois
The chateau hangs over the Loire. Ionity after 24 percent from Chambord's park.
- Day 5 · Amboise
Chenonceau on the Cher, then Leonardo's last house. Destination charge; the town is all slope.
- Day 7 · Chinon
Fortress and cabernet franc. Tesla in Saumur if the fortress climb ate more than the map.
- Day 10 · Tours
Last Tesla. The old town smells of river and bakers.
