Ten days of keeps: Mannheim, Heidelberg, Heilbronn, Rothenburg, Nuremberg, Bamberg, Bayreuth. Tesla and Ionity; old towns are walking towns.
Season: Year-round. Heidelberg castle terrace nicest May-June and September. Christmas markets in Nuremberg and Rothenburg.
