Holiday itinerary

Eight days of lake and myth: Lucerne, the Chapel Bridge, Weggis, Rigi, Pilatus, the Axenstrasse, Brunnen, Schwyz. Tesla in Lucerne; cog railways eat the altitude so the battery does not.

Season: Lake roads year-round. Rigi and Pilatus railways typically April-November; winter sports change the summit. Axenstrasse galleries can close for rockfall.

    The bridge holds the water. Overnight Tesla.

  2. Day 3 · Weggis

    The Rigi above the palms. Destination charger; the summit is a train.

  3. Day 5 · Brunnen

    The bay of the four cantons. Charge before the Axenstrasse.

  4. Day 6 · Schwyz

    A square that named a country. A quiet night.

  5. Day 8 · Lucerne

    Last Tesla. The lake is still in the rear-view.
