Holiday itinerary
Eleven days from Sofia toward Rila Monastery courtyard hush and the Seven Rila Lakes ridge approaches, soft Borovets pine light under Musala shoulders, then south into Bansko and Pirin granite belvederes, Melnik sandstone pyramids and wine-cellar lanes, Rozhen monastery quiet and Sandanski spa evenings before a soft return through Blagoevgrad. Eldrive, Shell Recharge and Tesla in the cities where present; mountain and monastery valleys are thinner — cool battery, daylight mountain legs, careful state of charge, unhurried Rila-Pirin and wine-hill rhythm.
Season: Best May to June and September to early October. Winter snow can close high Rila and Pirin approaches; summer heat is strong in the low Struma valley. Book overnight hotel wallbox or Eldrive / Tesla in Sofia, Bansko and Blagoevgrad when you can. Charge before Rila Monastery, Seven Lakes approaches, Pirin and long Melnik hops — cool battery, daylight mountain departure; coverage outside the main towns is thinner. Keep a careful state of charge on ridge and pass legs.

- Day 3 · Sapareva Banya
Seven Rila Lakes approach day: soft late light on the ridge trailheads, geyser hush in town, and belvederes toward every alpine spur. Pull off at every scenic viewpoint; charge after about 22 percent. Overnight hotel wallbox if bookable.
- Day 4 · Borovets
Pine light under Musala shoulders: soft evening on the resort lanes, forest hush, and quiet pulls toward the high trailheads. Cool the battery after the mountain hop; overnight hotel wallbox if bookable.

Pirin gateway town: soft late colour on the stone old-town lanes, mountain air from the granite ridges, and unhurried mehana evenings. Charge after about 20 percent; overnight hotel wallbox or Eldrive if bookable.
- Day 6 · Bansko
Second Pirin day for ridge belvederes and short forest walks: thin air, soft late colour on the granite, and every scenic pull-off toward Vihren shoulders. Cool the battery after the mountain hop. Overnight hotel wallbox if bookable.
- Day 7 · Melnik
Sandstone pyramids and wine-cellar lanes: soft late light on the earth towers, cellar hush under the hills, and every scenic pull-off on the south hop from Bansko. Cool the battery; overnight hotel wallbox if bookable.
