Holiday itinerary
Twelve days from Sofia through the Rhodope and the Black Sea coast: Plovdiv and Bachkovo, Smolyan in the mountains, Kazanlak in the rose valley, Veliko Tarnovo, Varna, Nessebar and Burgas, then back west. Eldrive, Shell Recharge and Tesla where present; mountain and rural legs need careful SOC — charge in the cities before the ridges and the long coast hops.
Season: Best May to October. Rhodope weather shifts fast; book overnight Eldrive, Shell or hotel wallbox in Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna and Burgas. Mountain legs after Plovdiv and long coast hops before Varna ask for a cool battery and daylight departure.

- Day 2 · Plovdiv
Old town hills above the Maritsa. Shell or Eldrive after 24 percent.
- Day 3 · Asenovgrad
Bachkovo monastery in the gorge. Charge after 22 percent.
- Day 5 · Smolyan
Rhodope ridges and cool air. Overnight Eldrive if you can book.
- Day 7 · Kazanlak
Rose valley and Thracian tombs. Cool battery before the north.
- Day 8 · Veliko Tarnovo
Tsarevets fortress above the Yantra. Overnight Shell or Eldrive.
- Day 10 · Varna
Sea light on the boulevard. Overnight Tesla or Eldrive.
- Day 11 · Nessebar
Old town churches on the spit. Charge after 20 percent.
- Day 12 · Sofia
Last Tesla. Black Sea salt is still in the rear-view.
