Holiday itinerary
Twelve days from Sarajevo through Jajce waterfall and castle light, Travnik fortress hills, UNESCO Mostar and the Old Bridge, Blagaj tekke at the Buna spring, stone Počitelj, Trebinje wine-town hush, Sutjeska canyon and Perućica forest pull-offs, then Neretva canyon viewpoints near Konjic before a soft return to the capital. ECS and local operators where present, Tesla Destination or hotel wallbox when you can book; the network is thinner in the mountains and along the southern loop — cool battery, daylight legs, unhurried river and stone-town rhythm.
Season: Best May to October. Mountain and Herzegovina weather shifts fast; book overnight ECS, Tesla Destination or hotel wallbox in Sarajevo, Mostar, Trebinje and Konjic when you can. Charge before Sutjeska and Neretva canyon hops — cool battery, daylight departure; the network is thinner inland and on the southern loop.

- Day 1 · Sarajevo
Bazaar lanes and the first mountain hush beyond the hills: Baščaršija copper light, the Miljacka river bridges, and evening cafes under the plane trees. Walk the Latin Bridge quiet and the soft pull-offs toward Trebević if the cable car is open. Overnight ECS or hotel wallbox near the centre.
- Day 2 · Jajce
Waterfall thunder in the town centre and castle ridge light: Pliva falls pour under the walls, the fortress walk opens the valley, and soft evening colour on the confluence. Pull off at the rampart belvederes and the quiet lakeside spur. Charge after about 20 percent. Overnight hotel wallbox if bookable.
- Day 3 · Travnik
Ottoman fortress above the Lašva valley: clock-tower hush, colour of the old bazaar lanes, and a panorama that softens toward the central hills. Climb for the amphitheatre of roofs; linger at the belvederes on the approach. Overnight hotel wallbox if bookable.
- Day 4 · Mostar
UNESCO Old Bridge stone arches the Neretva: diving light at noon, cobbled lanes of the old town, and evening colour on the turquoise river. Walk both banks and the quiet pull-offs above the gorge; cool the battery after the inland hop. Overnight ECS or hotel wallbox.
- Day 5 · Mostar
Second Herzegovina day for Blagaj tekke at the Buna spring cliff, stone Počitelj tower village, and unhurried canyon-edge pull-offs. Linger for late light on the spring water; charge after about 22 percent before the hop south.
- Day 6 · Trebinje
Southern wine-town hush under the Herzegovina sun: plane-tree square light, stone bridges on the Trebišnjica, and soft evening toward the hillside monasteries. Pull off at the Arslanagić bridge viewpoints and the quiet vineyard lanes. Overnight ECS or hotel wallbox.
- Day 7 · Tjentiste
Sutjeska canyon deepens toward Perućica primeval forest: cliff mirror light, meadow pull-offs, and hush under the tall beeches. Walk short park paths and the scenic spurs; cool the battery after the mountain hop. Overnight hotel wallbox if bookable.
- Day 8 · Tjentiste
Second Sutjeska day for unhurried meadow walks, Perućica rim viewpoints and late colour on the canyon walls. Linger at every belvedere; charge after about 20 percent before the return toward the Neretva.
- Day 9 · Konjic
Neretva canyon viewpoints and wooden bridge town light: turquoise water under the mountains, quiet riverside lanes, and soft evening on the approach from the east. Pull off at every rim belvedere; overnight hotel wallbox if bookable.
- Day 10 · Konjic
Second Neretva day for rafting viewpoints, canyon-edge pull-offs and unhurried lunch by the river. Stretch legs and cool the battery; charge after about 22 percent before the capital return.
- Day 12 · Sarajevo
Last evening under the plane trees of Baščaršija. Mostar bridge light and Sutjeska forest hush are still in the rear-view; a final ECS closes the loop.
