Holiday itinerary

Eight days of terraces, apricots and baroque: Vienna, Krems, Durnstein, Melk Abbey, Spitz. Tesla in Vienna and St. Polten; the river road is a stroll with a motor.

Season: Year-round. Apricot blossom April-May, harvest August-September. Ice wine weather can close terraces in January.

    The river is already in the city. Overnight Tesla.

  2. Day 3 · Krems

    Stein lanes and a glass of Gruner. Destination charger.

  3. Day 5 · Melk

    The abbey on the bluff. Charge in St. Polten on the way; the terrace is walking.

  4. Day 6 · Durnstein

    Blue tower and a ruin that once held a king. A quiet night.

  5. Day 8 · Vienna

    Last Tesla. The Danube is still in the rear-view.
