Holiday itinerary

Eight days of villas and a UNESCO railway landscape: Vienna Woods, Baden, Semmering, Rax, Schneeberg. Tesla in Vienna and Wiener Neustadt; the pass is a garden more than a mountain.

Season: Year-round. Semmering villas are loveliest May-June and September. Rax cable car can pause in high wind.

  2. Day 3 · Baden

    Sulphur and a park of plane trees. Destination charger.

  3. Day 5 · Semmering

    Grand hotels in the trees. Charge in Wiener Neustadt.

  4. Day 6 · Payerbach

    The viaduct in the window. A quiet night.

  5. Day 8 · Vienna

    Last Tesla. The woods are still in the rear-view.
