The rapid response teams of the patrol police in the city of Terebovlya, in Ternopil region, have received three Tesla Model 3 electric cars. The vehicles were supplied as part of a pilot project aimed at energy independence, launched at Police Station No. 3 and funded by business entities. Meanwhile, the three diesel service vehicles previously used by the patrol officers were handed over to Ukraine’s Defense Forces.
The electric cars are just part of the project. There are also plans to modernize the station’s power supply by installing solar panels. This will enable a 65% reduction in electricity consumption and save up to 400,000 hryvnias annually.
